The running & walking experiences of an 86 year old man. I used to run and walk alone, but now I walk with my wife, although I sometimes go walking alone. My overall goal is to reach age 100 and still be walking for my long and medium walks. I enjoy my walks, especially those with my wife, although I miss going long distance.

Pictures of the Jordan River Parkway
My wife and I took a 3-mile walk this evening along the Jordan River Parkway, and I took pictures to share with you. The pictures are in the left side-bar.
Thanks, Bruce. I am enjoying it. Notice the high mountains in the background. That's where we'll be driving on Friday the 18th. After spending 3 hours at 9000 feet, your body will think it's at sea level when you get back to 4000 feet.
Concerning your route, at least you're inside where it's cool. I think last Saturday was the hottest running day I've had in 33 years :(
Howdy! Yup, that mountain looks awfully high!! I hope that I don't get a nose bleed or pass out due to the lack of oxygen (just kidding, I hope). At least it's all downhill!!! Yes, your post for that hot day made me worry about your health! Happy trails, Bruce
Yeah, we will be up at 9000+ elevation for a couple of hours, but my 89-year old mother-in-law, whom I think will be with us, can handle the thin air, so I hope we'll be ok. We won't be doing much walking around.
Howdy Allen! You do have a beautiful running route, I'm so very jealous! I'm really getting tired of my dreadmill. Happy trails, Bruce
