The running & walking experiences of an 86 year old man. I used to run and walk alone, but now I walk with my wife, although I sometimes go walking alone. My overall goal is to reach age 100 and still be walking for my long and medium walks. I enjoy my walks, especially those with my wife, although I miss going long distance.

Free Giveaway on July 4, 2011
I recently read the book Running on Empty, and my review is posted in my training site. The book is the story of the unbelievable achievements of Marshall Ulrich. I would like to pass the book on to a runner, and I've decided to do it via a random drawing to be held on July 4, 2011. See the Giveaway page in the Welcome to My Blog section (in the left-sidebar) for details.

I am glad I found your blog. You are an inspiration! I actually started getting into running because of my grandpa, who is 73. I am a new follower!
ReplyDeleteHi Megan, tell your grandpa hello for me. I'm only two years older than him, so we have a lot in common. Does he do any walking for exercise?
