The running & walking experiences of an 86 year old man. I used to run and walk alone, but now I walk with my wife, although I sometimes go walking alone. My overall goal is to reach age 100 and still be walking for my long and medium walks. I enjoy my walks, especially those with my wife, although I miss going long distance.

Welcome home, Allen!
I haven't posted to thus blog recently because I've been away from the Internet for 5 days at a plush resort. I said the resort was plush, because room service brought all of my meals to my room (great food). I had personal service from both male and female valets who attended to my every need. Maids cleaned my room every day. A pretty nice place! Where is this resort? At the new hospital recently built by the Intermountain Health Care.

Sorry to hear of your illness, Allen. Wishing you a speedy recovery! Always enjoy reading your blog.
ReplyDeleteHello! I've been reading your other blog, Running Injury Free, and jumped over here. So sorry to hear about your hospital stay. I used to live in Salt Lake City. I'm a medical librarian and worked for Intermountain Health Care for four years at LDS Hospital.
ReplyDeleteMy best wishes for a speedy recovery. Thanks so much for sharing your experience, knowledge, and wisdom. It has been quite inspiring to me in these early days of running. I started three weeks ago and feel I'm off healthy and safe due to your site.
Hi Tanya! Thanks for the best wishes. IHC has built a new medical center on 5300 South. Quite a few buildings. I don't know what they've done with the LDS Hospital since the new hospital is their main one now.
