Two long-haired German Shepherd dogs

I saw a man sitting on a bench who had two big dogs of a breed that I'd never seen before. I asked him what breed of doges they were, and he said they were long-haired German Shepherd dogs. He said the dogs were being trained to be rescue dogs. His wife is a certified dog trainer, and she is training them. He is a "walker" and takes the dogs for walks. They were beautiful dogs.
