Another tired 2.4 mile run

I walked and ran the 2.4 mile run this morning. I was tired and did a lot of walking. The high point of the run was the three apples that I ate from "the" tree. I've slept well the past few days, but it takes a few days for my body to become rested. My wakeup heart rate this morning was 61. Even though I was out at 11:30, the shade temperature was in the high 60s.

  1. Allen - I started running in the spring of this year. I ran my first 5k in July. I'm training now for my 2nd & hopefully 3rd. One is in October, the other in December. I've been trying to pick up my pace which for me is making my run time shorter, but still exhilarating none the less. I have only been reading your blog now for a couple of days, but learning a lot from your physical observations of your body,energy,etc. I appreciate what you are doing and love that your sharing it with all of us. Thank you.

  2. Good luck, Jennifer, in your training. Be sure and run heavy/light, and follow the 10% rule. Let us know how the October race goes for you.

  4. I went for a run this morning as well as yesterday and was extremely tired. I have been running for 20 years and this is new to me. I will schedule a physical as I just turned 57 but I am looking for any words of wisdom
