Back to 5 miles

We're really having a warm fall. The temperature was in the high 60s (F) when I ran 5 miles on the Jordan River Parkway. There was a slight wind blowing that felt nice as I ran. I forgot to check my wakeup HR this morning, but yesterday it was 53. I felt fine during my run, and my pace during the last half mile was 11:16.

  1. Las Vegas weather is approximately 10+ degrees above normal, maybe some to this theory of global warming?!?

  2. We've been wondering the same thing, although, to really attribute something to global warming, I think one would have to look at the average temperature over a number of years. Then, again, the glaciers in the Arctic are melting pretty fast... Whatever the reason, this Fall has been nice.

We have some tomato plants next to our house on the south, and heat from the house has been protecting the plants from the mild frosts that we've had so far, and we're still getting fresh tomatoes.
